- Short day on the farm, with finishing work on the Honda MT5 of Bertus.

Dag 3: Merchtem - Westouter

- Again very bad weather! Used garbage bags and electrical tape to waterproof my shoes.

- At the afternoon stop in Oudenaarde, the MT5 wouldn't start anymore, and kept misfiring when trying to jumpstart the bike. Disassembled the carburetor on the parking lot of a supermarket. Problem was that the Honda didn't had the right spark plug. So after buying the right one we continued our journey.

Day 4: Exploring the area of Westouter

Notes:

- Drove up the Paterberg Muur (20% increase), had to push the last few meters, the weight of the moped + my own weight + the weight of the trailer was a little to much for the 50cc to pull in 1st gear. Turned out I burned my segment rings from the piston, power was way less after driving the Paterberg.

- Bertus' Honda broke his gascable near Oudenaarde and had to be picked up by his brother.

- My Kreidler had a flat tire after driving into a copper-like ring. Means I was stranded just after I passes Aalst. Friend came to pick me up and gave me a lift to Mechelen where I did a 1st try to repair my tire with limited tools.

- In the morning it turned out that the tire was flat again... Luckily I had a bicycle to use for a search for a garage. After passing 3 garages that were closed I found a garage that could help me. Wasn't the best garage, employee needed more time to remove a tire then me removing a tire with 2 screwdrivers...

- When arrived home, turned out my tire was flat AGAIN! After removing the tire i found out the garage 'repaired' the tire with an old tube that was 'already taped!!!
